Our first small project Belfast WW1 is up and running at http://belfastww1.co.uk
We’ve noticed that there are many small Belfast based projects relating to World War One on Facebook. However because they’re on Facebook, people who don’t use social media can’t access the information. It also means that the projects cannot be found using a regular Google search.
The Belfast WW1 signposting website is a very simple way of trying to bring that interesting personal research and those engaging community projects together in one place so that the public can find them. We’ve also linked to some bigger projects of interest, museums and publications.
